Standard construction technology
For the construction of Teleperm XS systems, control cabinets of type SC 9422 (2200 x 900 x 400 mm deep), protection class IP30, are usually used.
The cabinet is equipped with cable catch devices with a shielding rail.
The cabinet is designed for seismic loads.
The cable entry and power supply are generally from below.
In the standard cabinet, the module carriers are mounted in the middle area.
To the left and right of this are areas for the installation of cabinet connection elements and transceivers.
Connection terminals are used to connect peripheral cables.
Other connection techniques such as Maxi-Termi-Point are also possible.
Field cables must be shielded with twisted pair conductors.
Buses are implemented within a cabinet via conventional cables, outside the cabinet via fiber optic cables.
Teleperm XS is suitable for plants with area-wide grounding as well as for plants with central grounding (ZEP).

Module carriers
Depending on the task, different configurations of module carriers are used.
In the basic version, the module carrier has a continuous backplane bus and offers 21 plug-in slots.
If large signal quantities need to be recorded, expansion module carriers can be connected.

Also supported are variants such as:
- split module carriers with two smaller, independent computers
(10 plug-in slots each, each with their own fans and their own power supply)
- mixed configurations such as the compact combination of a computer with the associated signal conditioning modules
